It added an image of what looked like a screenshot of a ChatGPT chat. OpenAI had started things off last year, when the <a href=\"https:\/\/officechai.com\/ai\/founder-of-the-viral-studio-ghibli-trend-had-once-called-ai-art-an-awful-insult-to-life\/\">Ghibli trend<\/a> using its image generator had taken off and gone viral. Google had then responded with <a href=\"https:\/\/officechai.com\/ai\/google-gemini-becomes-top-app-on-app-store-after-viral-nano-banana-launch\/\">Nano Banana<\/a>, which had similarly gone <a href=\"https:\/\/officechai.com\/ai\/nano-banana-has-brought-10-million-new-users-to-gemini-says-google-exec\/\">viral<\/a> and got it plenty of new users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And OpenAI could do with some traction at the moment. Its market share has <a href=\"https:\/\/officechai.com\/ai\/geminis-traffic-share-rises-above-25-in-march-2026-chatgpt-slips-to-56-similarweb-data\/\">fallen <\/a>from nearly 80% to just over 50%, with Google Gemini and Claude both garnering significant traction. Its overall user-growth has declined too &#8212; as per Apptopia data, its app DAUs have been <a href=\"https:\/\/officechai.com\/ai\/chatgpts-us-app-market-share-has-fallen-below-40-daus-have-been-falling-since-oct-2025-apptopia-data\/\">falling<\/a> every month since October last year.
